12 Track CD Album from Jeff Klein

Produced by Nashville singer/songwriter Matthew Ryan, Everybody Loves a Winner was the follow up to Jeff Klein’s similarly acclaimed debut – 2000’s You’ll Never Get To Heaven If You Break My Heart. It established himself as a rising talent among singer-songwriters with his whiskey-and-nicotine rasp and stylistic voice. The Hustler features that same unique voice but achieves a richer, more textured sound. All twelve songs are written by Klein (with one co-written by Ryko artist Tara Angel), distinct pieces that play like a diary detailing a year of his life. Described as “Southern Gothic R&B” the album was recorded in New Orleans with Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers) and Mike Napolitano (Blind Melon, Joseph Arthur) producing.
